Latest Creation!!!

So I made a Beach Theme Cupcake Cake!!! I used Teddy Grahams as the "people" so are sunbathing and some are swimming! It was for a Luau Party!

Then I also made Minnie Mouse Cupcakes for a Two year old's Birthday Party!

They turned out great! We just recreated the cupcakes from a picture that she had gotten!

A New Creation!!!

    Last week my dad asked me to make him and Italian Cream Cake....I was concerned because I have always heard that these cakes a difficult to make. Either you can or you can't!!! Well, it was a success!!!  Several people tried it and LOVED it. SO I have decided that Italian Cream Cake Cupcakes would be a delicious addition to  A Taste of Sweetness' flavor menu!
    Another flavor I am working on is Cotton Candy! I had a friend suggest it so we are giving it a shot! It will be a blueberry cake, cotton candy buttercream frosting and topped with a cotton candy fluff! I am really excited about this possibility...new and interesting!
   Finally, I realize that cupcakes are something that everyone should be able to enjoy. Some of us can't have sugar or other things so I am working on coming up with some sugar free options (Thanks for the suggestion Wanda)! If there is a flavor or maybe a type of cupcake you would like me to try...let me know! I love a challenge!

The Tasting Party!!!

A couple weeks ago I had a tasting party. I made all of the flavors of cupcakes and invited my family and friends over for their advice. It was a success! Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves and all of the cupcakes!! Here are some of the pictures from the party and of course all of the cupcakes!!!

 Here the cupcakes are displayed with a cupcake display made by Dottie Vittitoe. She makes 3D cupcake stands and displays.

 I put together some sample packs with each of the 12 flavors in them. So everyone could take some home or share them with someone else!!

These are vanilla cupcakes with a pink buttercream frosting. I made these for my cousin's birthday party!

Did some one say Smores?? These cupcakes are one of my favorites! They are a chocolate cake  with a marshmallow  buttercream fosting and topped with  graham cracker crumbs! Yummy!
